Organizations
Phi Theta Kappa
The Beta Kappa Beta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa is the international
honor society that was chartered at Kilian Community College
in 2001. Membership in the honor society is based on community
participation and academic achievement. Each year approximately
40 Kilian students accept an invitation to participate in
Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), making it the largest student organization
at Kilian Community College.
Priding itself on community involvement, Phi Theta Kappa encourages
student growth in four Hallmarks - Leadership, Scholarship,
Service, and Fellowship. Kilian's PTK chapter, Beta Kappa
Beta, is active throughout the year in community and campus
projects such as a bi-annual Blood Drive; Project Graduation
- Feed a Body, Feed a Mind; Adopt-A-Highway; and other projects
that encourage academic and personal growth.
Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
Members of SIFE meet regularly to design educational outreach
projects that help individuals in our community develop a
better understanding of the principles of free enterprise
and how to use this information to empower themselves and
achieve their dreams.
To become a SIFE member at Kilian Community College you need
to be a student in good academic standing and you need to
attend at last half of our meetings annually. For more

news, opinion and comment as well as serve as a place to publish
excellent student academic work including short story and
poetry.
