Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of the Two-Year College, can trace its roots to a Society that started at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, in 1910. Students belonging to this elite group are offered many opportunities for scholarships and personal and professional development as well as many more open doors for their educational and career journey.  Members of this group have earned a minimum of 12 credits and maintain a minimim CGPA of 3.5. 

Work in Progress is Kilian's student newspaper.  It is a quarerly publication featuring the work of Kilian students and staff.  Prose and poetry are published along with features on faculty and staff.

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) teaches the free enterprise system to others at Kilian Community College as well as to members of the community along with learning how to use the free enterprise system effectively.  SIFE members meet on a regular basis to design outreach tools and projects to educated members of our community and foster a better understanding of the principles of free enterprise.  The goal is empowerment.
