Computer Lab Availability

The Student Success Center (Room 207) is available to current Kilian Community College students as an open computer lab.  Computers are available on a first come, first served basis.  Labs 123 and 124 will be open if available.

Use of Computer and Information Resources

The Information Systems department strives to provide a safe, secure, and user friendly computing experience for all users.  All members of the College community who use campus computers must do so responsibly.  Respect must be given to the rights of others as well as the integrity of the equipment, data, and licensing agreements.  A fair share of resources and privacy is given to every user of Kilian’s technology.  A secured home drive (H:/), accessible by only the individual user and Information Systems staff, is provided for all users.

Please note that all data created on or stored within the information systems of Kilian Community college is subject to monitoring or review by college staff at any time.  Great respect is given to students' privacy.  However, in order to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, the College may monitor an individual's usage.  By logging into the network, users agree to comply with all federal, state, and local laws, as well as Kilian Community College's policies and regulations, including the aforementioned conditions.  Violations will be reviewed and appropriate action taken, which may include the loss of technology privileges.  The College will report all illegal activity to the proper authorities and cooperate fully with any investigation or prosecution.
